A battery holder 50 associated with a card type casing 40 of a miniature electronic apparatus, e.g. a radio pager is supported by the casing 40 and selectively rotatable about a pin 68 into or out of the casing. The holder 50 comprises a frame 54 into which the battery 56 can be inserted when the holder is out of the casing, and a metal plate 58 which is clipped over it.
