<p>The horizontal ribs constituting an expanded net have lengths such that the ribs are not substantially stretched from the state of its sheet material. Consequently, the expanded net does not swell but is flat. Compared to a conventional expanded net, the vertical ribs are inclined at an acute angle to the linear part consisting of the solid portion. Therefore, if the lug of the collector plate is formed in the inclined direction, the net serves as a grid of a high collecting efficiency. <IMAGE></p> |
