PURPOSE:To obtain the oil excellent in lubricating properties, rust preventive properties and antifoaming properties by incorporating a specified polyester having at least one sulfur-containing heterochain atom in a molecule. CONSTITUTION:This oil contains a polyester having at least one sulfur- containing heterochain atoms in the molecule, represented by the formula [wherein R1 and R2 each is 2-20C alkylene, alkenylene, phenylene, 2-10 C phenyl- substituted alkylene; or at least either of them is alkylene having a sulfur- containing heterochain atom or the like; A is H or CH3; (x) is an integer of 0-45; (n) is an integer of 1-10; and M is H, an alkali metal or an amine residue]. The above polyester is pref. one represented by the formula (wherein R1 is 2-20 C alkylene, and R2 is 2-10C alkylene having one or two sulfur-containing heterochain atoms). |
