<p>PURPOSE:To prevent handles of a so-called C-type corrugated fiberboard box from being removed. CONSTITUTION:A corrugated fiberboard box 11 consists of an upper box 12 and lower box 13. Handle-attaching holes 12a, 13a which go through an overlapped part of the upper box 12 and lower box 13 are provided. Cut and raised pieces 12c are provided at the handleattaching hole 12a of the upper box 12. The cut and raised pieces 12c have a connecting part on the right and left side edges of the handle-attaching hole 12a, and are bent at a right angle to the inside of the box. Handles are inserted and attached in the handleattaching holes 12a, 13a. By the existence of the cut and raised pieces 12c, the combining force between the upper box 12 and lower box 13 is increased. Also, the cut and raised pieces 12c pinch the handle from the right and left sides. Therefore, even when a load is applied to the upper box under a condition wherein the lower edge of the upper box 12 is lifted in the air, the handles are not easy to remove.</p> |
