摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To provide a pipe laying method whereby a pipe can be efficiently pressed in without using a spacer to eliminate wasteful time and labor for spacer insertion and removal, to reduce a number of workers and to improve safety, when the pipe is pressed in by a hydraulic jack in a horizontal direction, when a pipe line is newly laid or when a new pipe is laid in an old pipe. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic jack 12 is formed in a type delivering several steps of short rams 13. A stroke of the ram longer than a standardized pipe P is used. The single standardized pipe P is pressed into an old pipe P0 by a series of press in action by a hydraulic jack 12. Next, the ram 13 of delivery type is all contracted, to connect the next standardized pipe P to a rear end of the standardized pipe P pressed in before, and to interpose a seal material in a joint of the pipes before and after, so that similarly to the preceding time, the ram 13 of the hydraulic jack 12 is extended to press in the standardized pipe P. In this way, a pipe line is newly efficiently formed.</p>
