<p>PURPOSE:To perform selection of a running wheel according to a running surface by a method wherein spare wheels are mounted on a dolly having replaceable wheels. CONSTITUTION:Rear and front wheels 5 and 10 consist of a timer wheel suitable for running on a flat road and discs 5' and 10' are securely fastened against a flange 21 by means of a bolt 22. Meanwhile, the disc of a rail wheel 23 with a flange 23a suitable for running on a rail as a wheel B for exchange has the same standard as that of each of the discs of the rear and front wheels 5 and 10 and securely fastened against the flange 21 by means of the bolt 22. Thus, the rear and front wheels 5 and 10 consisting of a tyre wheel and the rail wheel 23 are freely exchangeable with each other. When the rail wheel 23 is mounted on a small dolly, the rear and front wheels 5 and 10 consisting of the tyre wheel are stored as a wheel B for exchange. To exchange and mount and demount the wheel, there is no need to increase the lengths of axles 6 and 19.</p> |
