GRAPH GENERATING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide a graph generating device capable of automatically determining a graph form appropriate to data to be graphed without selecting and specifying the kind of a graph. CONSTITUTION:A generating graph primary candidate selecting means 91 selects the kind of a primary candidate for a graph to be generated based upon inputted graph expression information and a graph expression element stored in a 1st condition storing part 71 and stores the selected candidate in a graph kind candidate storing part 8. When a graphing data array condition satisfies an array condition extracted from a 2nd condition storing part 73 based upon the primary candidate kind stored in the storing part 8, a generating graph secondary candidate selecting means 92 sets up the primary candidate kind as a secondary candidate kind for a graph to be generated. A generating graph selecting means 93 determines a graph kind having the highest frequency out of plural secondary candidate kinds based upon frequency information stored in a third condition storing part 73. Thus the graph generating device generates and outputs a graph based upon the determined graph kind.
