LINEAR BODY LAPPING-UP PREVENTING PULLEY AND LAPPING-UP PREVENTING METHOD IN MANUFACTURING LINEAR BODY

PURPOSE:To provide a lapping-up preventing pulley for preventing the lapping-up of a linear body on the fitting portion of a rotary disk constituting the pulley when the linear body such as an optical fiber strand is manufactured. CONSTITUTION:This lapping-up preventing pulley is constituted of a rotary disk 4c traveled in contact with a linear body on the outer periphery and a linear body lapping-up preventing means B1 of the linear body on the fitting shaft of the rotary disk 4c formed on one outside face of the rotary disk 4c. A cap-like nut member 50 is practically used for the linear body lapping-up preventing means B1, and the end section of the linear body is prevented from being hooked on a pulley portion when the linear body is broken due to the cap-like nut member 50.
