PURPOSE:To area-extract an intended part from a projected three-dimensional image data with a simple operation, and display a three-dimensional image by determining the average value of CT value of each pixel in an area of concern, and determining the range of CT value from the average value and the upper and lower limit values. CONSTITUTION:A required image is selected from two-dimensional image data photographed by an X-ray CT device, this is displayed on a monitor 7, an intended part is determined while looking at the monitor screen, and an area of concern in the intended part is selected by an input part 10. The average value of CT value within the area of concern is calculated by a ROI setting part 12, and the upper and lower limit values of CT value are inputted as relative quantities, and the upper and lower limit values are subjected to addition and subtraction with the average value of CT value as the center, whereby the range of CT value is determined. The work for judging whether each pixel adjacent to the set area of concern is included in this range of CT value or not is repeated by an area extracting part 13 to extract the intended part, and the extracted area is three-dimensionally displayed. |
