FILTER FOR FILTERING NOISE

PURPOSE: To provide a glitch filter for eliminating noise pulses which are less than 12ns generated by large devices on a simplified computer system interface(SCSI) bus, and reflections of 12ns pulses generated by a long SCSI bus cable as well as noise pulses in the order of 35ns which exists typically on a SCSI bus. CONSTITUTION: This glitch filter is provided with a schmidt trigger 400 connected so as to receive an SCSI bus signal and three filters 500A, 500B and 600 connected to the in series with schmidt trigger 400. The 1st filter 500A eliminates positive pulses having a pulse width less than 12ns and produces an inverted output. The 2nd filter 500B removes negative pulses having a pulse width less than 12ns and produces an inverted output. The 3rd filter 600 removes pulses having a pulse width less than 35ns and produces the output of the glitch filter.
