PURPOSE: To rapidly and reliably determine the frequency of a generator to a desired resonance frequency for adjustment by performing a control, based on such supplementary control values as a current, a voltage, an apparent power, and an effective power in addition to a phase angle. CONSTITUTION: The line voltage of a device passes through a line filter 10, passes to a line power supply 20, and transfers a supply voltage to a shifter 40. Only when the on conditions are coded for a microcontroller 80 and all the constituent devices set up with operation voltages, is an end stage 50 operated by the microcontroller 80. Also, a shifter 40 adjusts a DC voltage and transfers a power to the end stage 50, and the output of the end stage is finally matched with a transducer system impedance in terms of impedance by a matching box 60. As a result, the microcontroller determines an optimum operation point using current and voltage information that are coded by the output of the matching box 60 and transfers proper energy to a welding process and at the same time controls an allowable current value. |
