PURPOSE:To improve the convenience of a user by decreasing the number of times to exchange a battery by prolonging the service life of the battery by making possible battery saving even in a speaking state. CONSTITUTION:When the remaining capacity of a battery 510 detected by a battery capacity detecting part 511 gets less than a prescribed value, a press- to-talk system is provided by a main control part 500. At such a time, a power supply control part 512 does not supply power to a radio signal modulation part 502 and a transmission amplifier part 503 excepting for the time of transmission in which a transmission button 514 is depressed, and no transmission is performed to the radio communication equipment of a radio base station. |
