<p>PURPOSE:To provide a container which is excellent in barrier property and impact resistance by applying a resin composition layer wherein an ethylene- vinylalcohol copolymer and polyolefin with a functional group, and/or a thermoplastic resin are blended. CONSTITUTION:A single layer or multi-layer container is formed using a resin composition layer consisting of an ethylene-vinylalcohol copolymer, and polyolefin with at least one functional group which is selected from boron acid group, borin acid group, and boron-containing group being convertible to the boron acid group and borin acid group with the existence of water, and the resin composition layer for which a thermoplastic resin is blended in addition. When these containers are used as a single layer container, the barrier property is increased without lowering the impact resistance, and when they are used as a multi-layer container, the impact resistance can be improve without lowering the barrier property. They are particularly superior in barrier property against a methanol-containing gasoline, and are useful as the raw material for a fuel container or fuel transfer pipe, etc., of automobiles, etc.</p> |
