PURPOSE:To obtain the title card having a high-grade thermal transfer image and easy to see through by specifying the transmission density of the total layer on the side of a writing layer than the transmission density and built-in image of the total layer on the side of an image support layer than the image of specific transmission density on the surface of the writing layer and a card substrate and the thickness of the card substrate. CONSTITUTION:In a card substrate, white resin layers 3 are provided on both surfaces of a polyester layer 4 and a synthetic paper layer 7 is provided on the side of a writing layer 5 and a watermark pattern 6 is provided between the synthetic paper layer 7 and the polyester layer 4. That is, an image 6 with transmission density of 0.5-1.5 is built in between the writing layer 5 and the card substrate or on the side of the writing layer 5 from the polyester layer 4. The transmission density of all layers on the side of the image support layer from the built-in image 6 and the transmission density on the side of the writing layer are respectively 0.5-1.5 and the former is larger than the latter. The thickness of the card substrate or the card substrate part on the side of the image carrier layer 2 from the built-in image 6 in the card substrate is 200mum or more.
