PURPOSE:To improve the easiness in the operation of transferring a magnetic head tip from the first plate to second plate when the lapping process is to be applied to the both surfaces of the tip. CONSTITUTION:A tip 1 is attached through wax to the surface of the first plate 10 and pinched by the second plate 20 coated with wax, and the second plate 20 is heated and then cooled by a cold plate 40. The first plate 10 is heated by a third plate 50 heated previously, and a forced is applied to the first plate 10 so that exfoliation is made from the tip 1. Thus the tip transferring operation is completed. |
