RETURN DEVICE OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE STARTER HEAD

PURPOSE: To provide the simple, inexpensive and joinable return device for the starter head for an internal combustion engine. CONSTITUTION: This device has a motor shaft 34 and a starter pinion 10 sliding along the motor shaft and a free wheel 18 and a drive sleeve 24 are fixed to the starter pinion 10 by a fastened shroud 26. The return device 38 provided on the drive sleeve 24 is constituted by a ring member having at its inner periphery plural elastically deformable teeth 44 engaged snap-fittingly with a ring shape groove 46 formed on the outer periphery of the inner end 48 of the drive sleeve 24. The teeth 44 are inclined relative to the axis of the ring member 38.
