PURPOSE:To make video display without impairing the original resolution as far as possible by controlling the positions of dividedly displayed images in such a manner that the divided images are displayed side by side as if these images are partly superposed on or connected to each other in a horizontal direction. CONSTITUTION:The distance L from the centers of both eyes of liquid crystal displays 103, 106 paired on the right and the left is variable. Positions of magnifying lenses 104, 106 are so arranged as to be movable cooperatively with the positions of the respective liquid crystal displays 103, 106. Image processing is executed in the cerebrum center in such a manner that the human eyes attempt to capture the screens of two magnified virtual images 107, 108 not as one screen any more but as the two screens if these screens are entirely different from each other in the case the virtual images are so set as to overlap on each other or to come into contact with each other by increasing the distance L from the centers of both eyes of the liquid crystal displays 103, 106 paired on the right and the left. Finally, these two screens are visible as if the screens are connected at the center of the screens. |
