PURPOSE:To prevent abnormality of an oil temperature sensor from being wrong decided by deciding abnormality of the oil temperature sensor based on whether an oil temperature sensor detection value is continued or not in an abnormal value condition for a prescribed time or more. CONSTITUTION:A power train is constituted of an engine 1, torque converter 3 and an automatic transmission 2, and a controller 9 is provided for speed change control by the automatic transmission 2. In the controller 9, a throttle opening signal TVO, engine speed signal ENGREV, car speed signal V, transmission operating oil temperature signal C and a transmission select range signal S are input from sensors 10 to 14, to decide whether an oil temperature sensor is abnormal or not, in the case that a detection value of the transmission operating oil temperature signal C temporarily reads a value out of a normal temperature range, by whether or not an accumulated tame of this condition is a prescribed time or more. |
