PURPOSE:To obtain a semiconductor power converter which can prevent the increase of noise which occurs when the rating of a cooling fan is increased and, at the same time, can improve the cooling effect of the fan without increasing the external size of the fan. CONSTITUTION:After housing an H-frame 10 in an enclosure, a plurality of power element stack housing modules 1, a snubber capacitor housing module 4, a snubber resistor housing module 5, and a cooling fan housing module 3 are inserted into the frame 10 in freely drawable states. In addition, flow specifying plates 6A and 6B are provided on the bottoms of the power element stack housing modules 1 so that cooling air can be blown upon an air-cooled heat sink in a concentrated state. |
