PURPOSE:To facilitate the elimination of a deposit by inserting plural magnets into a pipe so as to magnetize ferromagnetic substance in the deposit stuck to the inside of the pipe to separate the deposit, and after moving the magnetic field to transfer the deposit, demagnetizing the deposit by the high frequency alternating magnetic field to release the deposit. CONSTITUTION:A rod 11 is inserted into a pipe 5, and in the position of the magnetic field of linear magnets 12 reaching the innermost part of a narrow part 6, power is supplied from a transfer coil exciting power source 20 to generate the moving magnetic field. Iron, nickel, and the like in a deposit X are thereby magnetized to generate a granulating effect, and the deposit X is separated. Hereupon a rotating drive source 14 is driven to rotate the magnets 12, and the operating rod 11 is pushed in to transfer the separated deposit to the outlet of the narrow part 6. Power is then supplied to high frequency alternating magnetic field generating magnets 13 from a demagnetizing coil power source 21. The flux density of the deposit X is thereby reduced gradually to eliminate residual magnetism. With this demagnetization, the deposit X is dispersed and mixed in cooling water so as to be eliminated along with the circulation of the cooling water. |
