PURPOSE:To provide a retainer integral type seal device of structure capable of firmly fixing a seal member and a retainer and to provide a method of manufacturing this retainer integral type seal device, in an integrally formed molded product of the resin-made seal member and the resin-made retainer. CONSTITUTION:In a retainer integral type seal device integrally forming a resin-made annular seal member 2 and a resin-made retainer 3 of supporting a diametric direction one end of the seal member 2 by insert molding in the case of die molding the retainer 3, a seal member fixing part 8, fixed so as to press in obverse/reverse both side surfaces of the seal member 2, is provided in the retainer 3. In this seal member fixing part 8, an opening part 20, where any one side surface of the obverse/reverse side surface) of the seal member 2 is partly exposed, is provided, and in an exposed surface part of the seal member 2 exposed in this opening part 20, an engaging part 21, irregularity- engaged with each other between itself and a resin part of the seal member fixing part 8 in an opposite side to a side provided with the opening part 20, is provided. |
