摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain an aldehyde purifying catalyst adapted to the exhaust gas purifying catalyst device of an internal combustion engine using alcohol fuel. CONSTITUTION:In the exhaust gas purifying catalyst of an internal combustion engine using alcohol fuel, an aldehyde purifying catalyst is arranged on the upstream side in an exhaust gas stream and a ternary catalyst is arranged on the downstream side in series.
