METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING POLYESTER FILM

The polyester film is prepared by (A) ester-exchange reacting and polycondensating dimethyl terephthalate and ethylene glycol, (B) adding silica as a lubricant during biaxially extending the molten extruded polymer. The silica is added in the form of ethylene glycol slurry containing the surface-treated silica, which is made by reacting the dispersed silica in the ethylene glycol with 0.05-5 wt% siliane coupling agent at 30-160 deg.C.
