The pick-up control circuit for a disc reproducing device comprises: a tracking coil driving unit for compensating the tracking error and driving the tracking coil; a unit for outputting a tracking over signal if a tracking error value of the pick-up device is over a predetermined value; a control unit for outputting a pick-up transferring motor driving control signal and a gain control signal on the basis of the position error value of the pick-up device; a pick-up transferring motor driving control unit for forming the driving condition of the pick-up transferring motor under the control of the control device if there is a tracking over signal or a track access command is input; and a pick-up feeding motor driving unit for driving the pick-up transferring motor by the gain which has been set at a gain control unit by the pick-up transferring motor driving control signal and gain control signal.
