The device consists of an ultrasonic sensor(10) which receives reflected waves from obstacles, an oscillating unit(32) which generates frequencies, a sensor operating unit(34) which outputs electrical signals to the ultrasonic sensor, an amplifying unit(36) which amplifies signals detected by the ultrasonic sensor, a band pass filter(38) which transfers waveforms of some band pass from amplified signals, a detecting unit(40) which generates voltage signals by detecting transferred signals from the band pass filter, an obstacle detecting unit(44) which outputs the difference of voltage by comparing the voltage signals with reference voltage, a microprocessor(30) which supplies timing pulses and reference voltage and forsees the operation of the ultrasonic sensor, and a warning signal generating unit(46,48) which generates warning signals by the microprocessor.
