PURPOSE:To approximately transform a free curve on a two-dimensional plane with a straight line and a circular arc connected the straight lines as tangents. CONSTITUTION:Distances from an intersection (vector P10) between tangents (vectors V3, V4) to both end points (vectors P8, P9) of a free curve are respectively checked, a straight line corresponding to the length of a difference between both distances is generated from one end point (vector P9) of the longer tangent out of both end points (vectors P8, P9) of the free curve and an intersection (vector P12) between a line perpendicular to the straight line at the end point (vector P11) of the straight line and a line perpendicular to the tangent at the other end point (vector P8) of the free curve is set up as the center to generate a circular arc between the other end point (vector P8) of the free curve and the end point (vector P11) of the straight line. |
