PURPOSE:To provide an efficiently running bicycle which can be rectilinearly driven while it is driven circularly by foot pedals. CONSTITUTION:Circle-like lead rails 1, 1' each having a line-like front part and a circular remaining part are connected in combination to side surfaces of circular lead rails 2, 2', and then the rails 1, 1', 2, 2' in combination are slidably laid around support parts 4, 4' of axles 3A, 3A' of a chain wheel 3, laterally similar to one another. Further, the left and right pedals are attached to telescopic rods 6, 6' as arms having side surfaces to which wheels 7, 7' are provided. The wheels 7, 7' are engaged with and slide along the left and right lead rails which are laterally similar to one another, being integrally incorporated with one another by an upper arm 8, and a lever 9 is incorporated to the upper part of the arm 8 so that the left and right lead rail are slid by moving this lever. Thereby the bicycle can be selectively driven rectilinearly and circularly under control through the lever. |
