SYSTEM FOR REPLENISHMENT OF LIQUID ELECTROSTATIC DEVELOPER

PURPOSE: To easily keep the percentage of solid in a liquid developer into a necessary amount. CONSTITUTION: This system is for maintaining a solid in toner to be 0.5% to 4% by supplying the liquid developer in a device such as a printer. The system is provided with at least one liquid toner concentrate container 2 housing the flocculated material of thermoplastic resin grain, a liquid container 3 housing carrier liquid and a means communicating each container to a dispersion container. The dispersion container houses a high shearing or high impact means and is provided with the contents of a liquid toner concentrate container 2 and the liquid container to form a dispersion liquid in which resin grain is dispersed in a carrier liquid and provided with not more than 15μm centromere diameter (volume weighting), 90% of grain (volume weighting) is not more than 30μm and the grain of about 0.5 to 20wt.% and the carrier liquid of 99.5 to 80wt.% are included. This dispersion liquid is supplied within a supplying container 1 housing a first liquid developer to maintain the density of solid in the liquid developer to be a desired value.
