摘要 PURPOSE:To provide an optical transmission system telemeter for rotating machine which can be installed in a middle position in the lengthwise direction of a revolving shaft. CONSTITUTION:An optical transmission system telemeter 1 for a rotating machine uses a cylindrical transmission part 4 having plural light emitting elements 451, whose light emitting faces are placed outside the transmission part and are directed to the normal direction of a revolving shaft 96 and which are arranged at regular intervals, and an output part 3 having a light receiving element 31 which is so arranged that longer sides of its rectangular light reception face 31a are parallel with the lengthwise direction of the revolving shaft 96. The transmission part 4 is set between a main generator 91 and an exciter 94 of the revolving shaft 96 in a turbine generator 9, and the digital signal of parallel data corresponding to plural pieces of information on the rotor side taken out from a current detecting means (shunt resistor) 971, etc., is inputted to each light emitting element 451, and an optical signal 45a is emitted. Optical signals 45a are successively made incident on the light receiving element 31 in accordance with rotation of the revolving shaft 96, and the digital signal of serial data corresponding to rotor-side information is obtained in the output part.
