PURPOSE: To simply detect an iso thiazolone compound at a high speed at a low cost by using an immunogen complex with a polymer carrier covalently bonded to iso thiazolones having a reactive group. CONSTITUTION: A polymer carrier is covalently bonded to iso thiazolones having a reactive group to obtain an immunogen complex. The iso thiazolone is 2- methyl-3-iso thiazolone. The obtained immunogenic complex applies immunity to an animal, e.g. a mouse, antibody producing cells are obtained from the animal, and the cells are fused with tumor cells to obtain hybridoma. At least one hybridoma capable of generating the antigen peculiarly bonded with iso thiazolones is selected from the obtained hybridoma. The antigen generated from the selected hybridoma is recovered, and the monoclonal antibody having the reactivity with iso thiazolones is obtained. |
