PURPOSE:To provide a brushless motor, which can decrease cogging torque and torque ripples, with simple constitution. CONSTITUTION:This is a brushless motor, which includes a rotor 10 having a permanent magnet 16 with 2P poles, and a stator 30 having an armature winding 46 with full-pitch distributed winding having three phase and two poles. The stator 30 includes 3P pieces of first teeth 34 having large pole pieces 36 and 3P pieces of second teeth 38, which have small pole pieces 40 and are alternately arranged with the first teeth 34. A recess groove 44 is formed at the center of the surface of the large pole piece 36. Three-phase rectangular- wave currents, whose phases are different by 120 degrees in the electric angle, are conducted through the respective-phase windings of the three-phase armature winding 46. Thus, the rotor 10 is rotated and driven. |
