PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect the reverse rotation of a compressor due to erroneous wiring between an inverter circuit and a d.c. motor, and to stop and restart the compressor in the forward rotation. CONSTITUTION:A rotational direction detecting means A17 detects the forward/ reverse rotation of a rotary compressor 5 through compressor temperatuxre. If it is detected that the compressor 5 is operating in reverse due to erroneous wiring, the compressor 5 is stopped. Then a starting sequence control means 13 outputs commutation pulses, stored in a means 15 for storing starting sequence for correction, and chopping signals, and the compressor 5 is thereby restarted in the forward rotation. |
