<p>PURPOSE:To immediately detect presence or absence of a fault of a power facility by inputting image data at the time of relighting a light source light after the light is turned OFF by an image input unit, comparing its image data with image data previously stored in a normal image memory, and judging whether a difference between both images exceeds an allowable range or not. CONSTITUTION:An illuminator 1 is turned OFF by a light source driver 21 after an image monitoring is finished. The illuminator 1 is again turned ON at the time of monitoring the image, and the image data at that time is input to an image data input unit 5. The input image data is compared with an image data at the time of normal power facility stored in an image data memory 3 by a specific part judging unit 7, and whether a difference between both images exceeds an allowable range or not. When the specific part exceeding the range is not detected, the image data of the normal power facility is monitored by an image monitor 14. When the specific part is detected, the image data at the time of the normal power facility is locally corrected by the monitor 14, and monitored.</p> |
