PURPOSE:To obtain image data matching an output means from image data read by a different light source with respect to a color correction method of an image processing system. CONSTITUTION:In the color correction method in an image processing system in which an output means reproduces an image and outputs it based on image data representing a color of each picture element received by an image storage means, 1st light source information relating to the light source used for representing image data in a uniform color space is received together with the image data, the 1st light source information is collected with 2nd light source information relating to a light source used to convert image data into an output image by the output means and when the type of the light source represented by the 1st light source information is dissident with that of the 2nd light source information, the difference from the color of each light source is evaluated based on the 1st light source information and the 2nd light source information and the received image data are corrected in a uniform color space based on the obtained evaluation result. |
