The instrument panel comprises a front face (1) at the front thereof a screen-printed mask (4) representing at least one symbol (5), at the rear of the front face at least one source of illumination (6) in a light box (7) for illuminating the symbol (5) and, projecting towards the front of the front face, a raised trim element (2) overmoulded over the mask (4).
