PURPOSE:To stop the printing action of printing mechanism immediately reacting to a printing stop command so as to economize toner consumption. CONSTITUTION:In a laser printer control system, an AND gate 68 is connected to a circuit reaching the driving circuit 64 of a laser diode 11 from a DC controller circuit 60, and when the printing stop key of a control panel 11 is turned on, an L-level mark signal is outputted to the AND gate 68 from the port OPM of the DC controller circuit 60 so as to stop the printing action of printing mechanism immediately. |
