PURPOSE:To provide the video projector for which a wrong operation preventing function is added for preventing any trouble such as the destruction of a deflection circuit or the burning of a CRT from being generated by the wrong operation of a polarity changeover switch at a deflection coil. CONSTITUTION:Concerning this video projector, polarity changeover switches 8 and 9 for deciding the polarity of a polarity switching circuit at the deflection coil are protected by a lid and when this lid is opened during operating, a microswitch 16 is turned on while being interlocked with it. Then, a microcomputer 13 under the control of this microswitch 16 outputs a horizontal deflection circuit stop control output 14 and a vertical deflection circuit stop control output 15 and stops the polarity switching circuit. |
