PURPOSE:To set a shortest route to a destination easily and positively even when traffic regulations must be taken into account by a constitution wherein a link to be connected with a node corresponding to the destination becomes a candidate link, without fail, in any one stage before ending the route setting process. CONSTITUTION:A system controller 5 comprises an interface section 6, a CPU 7, a ROM 8, a nonvolatile memory section, and a RAM 9. A link decision data is read previously into the RAM 9 and the controller 5 functions as a candidate link selecting means and a link decision means. At first, the controller 5 recognizes all links connected with a starting point as candidate links and decides a link (link LA) having lowest cost (accumulated distance). If the link LA reaches a destination, the processing is ended, otherwise a connection data including a link decision data relating to the link LA is obtained and processed until a new link LA reaches the destination. |
