PURPOSE:To protect an electric device connected to a debug device from the illicit output of the debug device when a user breaks the execution of an application program in a debug job carried out by the debug device. CONSTITUTION:When an evaluation CPU 26 stops the execution of an application program in response to the break command (condition) received in a debug job, the output of the input/output port of the CPU 26 is quickly switched to the output of a register storing the safe value or the output acquired by the interruption processing. Thus the safety is secured for an electric device which is connected to a debug device. The output state which is previpusly set by a user is set at the input/output port of the CPU 26 when this CPU stops the execution of the application program. Therefore it is possible to evade such a case where the defective output is supplied to the electric device connected to the debug device due to the break of execution of the application program. |
