The cage, containing the bags or pots of oysters or shell fish, is constructed with two axes (1), which fit into the eyes of the base frame (2). The axes allow the complete rotation of the cage. A variation replaces the frame eyes by U-shaped brackets to allow the cage to be lifted out without disturbing the frame.One of the legs of the frame is extended upwards and is fitted with two supplementary eyes, such that they align with the eyes in the end of the cage, thus allowing the cage to be locked into position by means of the bolt (7), retained by the stop (8). |
