PURPOSE:To allow the correction system for European words including English letters and numerals to correct object characters sometimes mis-recognized such as '0' and '0' and '1' and 'I' with high accuracy and to surely ascertain correct words. CONSTITUTION:A total number of characters in words other than object characters is counted by counters 9, 11 depending on each font and object characters are corrected into those of a font including much more character counts. In this case, when words are made up of only object characters, the object characters are all corrected into numerals. When the counts of the counters 9, 11 are equal to each other, number of characters before and after each object character depending on each font are counted by counters 13, 15, and each object character is corrected to a character of a font counted much. |
