PURPOSE:To surely correct data with a simple apparatus by providing a receiving means for receiving waves from N satellites and outputting corresponding receiving data, a position data-calculating means, a correction data-calculating means and a correcting means. CONSTITUTION:A GPS receiver 101 for receiving waves from GPS satellites 400a-400h up in the sky and calculating coordinates of a position of a vehicle 100, and a GPS antenna 102 are set, in the vehicle 100 having a GPS navigation system loaded thereon. Moreover, a map database memory part 108, e.g. a CD-ROM or the like, a controller 110 for receiving positional data sent from the devices and outputting display data, and a display monitor 111 are arranged in the vehicle. The vehicle 100 receives waves from the satellites 400a-400h at the antenna 102 and calculates a reference position and a correction value at the receiver 101. The correction data are stored together with the valid time thereof in a memory set in the receiver 101, and used afterwards as a correction value for GPS measuring data. |
