PURPOSE:To provide the linear image printing processor for printing out the same linear image even with a different type print-out device when printing the line drawing composed of plural line segments such as broken lines with a desired line end shape. CONSTITUTION:A line end position designating means designates the line end positions of a broken line 31 in the 'circular' line end shape, and a plotting data generating means generates plotting data for continuously printing semicircular auxiliary line end parts 41 at two end parts 35 designated as the line end positions. Then, based on the vector data or the like of the broken line 31 inputted to a line drawing data input means, the plotting data of the auxiliary line end parts 41 are outputted from a plotting data output means through an output interface to a computerized phototype setting system together with the plotting data of the broken line 31, which are generated by the plotting data generating means, turning both the end parts 35 and 37 of each line segment 33 into the 'cut-off' end shape. |
