PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity for performing a high precision positioning for an optical path switching means or an optical fiber and to efficiently transmit optical signals by constituting a concave mirror with an optical path switching means. CONSTITUTION:An input optical fiber 10 is supported by a ceiling surface 50 through a graded index lens 11, located at the tip section of the fiber 10. A concave mirror 20 is also supported by the surface 50 through a returning spring 21 so that the mirror 20 is facing opposite to the tip surface of the lens 11. The mirror 20 is integrally assembled and moved in a reciprocating manner with an output optical fiber 30 through an electromagnet section 40. The tip surface of the fiber 30 is positioned to a focusing point 22 of the mirror 20. When a voltage is applied to a coil 42, a movable iron piece 43 is pulled down by an iron core 41 against the spring force of the spring 21 and the mirror 20 and the fiber 30 are integrally moved. Thus, the end surface of the fiber 30 is positioned to the focusing point of a mirror 20 or a projecting lens. |
