The floor doors, used for lifts, are fitted into the wall, with the lift cabin running externally to the wall. The doors consist of at least one principal panel (1), which is fitted so as to slide along a line parallel to the fixed panel (4) of the door.The principal panel is constructed so as to form an rear wall (1a), which is suspended on a carriage from a fixed rail (15), and a front wall (16), which is extended to form a protective barrier (18), concealing the carriage and mechanism (5), which drives the principal panel along the rail.
