<p>PURPOSE:To lock a gripper at a steplessly gripping angle by using a locking mechanism having a rotary shaft for lockable and openable operations, a one- way clutch and a handle in combination as an operating mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A one-way clutch 29 is so mounted at a fulcrum position of a lever of an intermediate part of a handle 8 that, when the handle 8 is operated in a closing direction, the clutch 29 is slipped, and when the handle 8 is operated in an opening direction, the clutch 29 locks the handle 8. The clutch 29 is so provided that the handle 8 supported to a rotary shaft 20 for an operation having a locking mechanism operates an auxiliary operation rod 2 by the operation of a lever at the shaft 20 as a fulcrum. Thus, when an operator closes the handle 8 and releases his hand from the handle 8 in the state that he judges that an object to be operated is gripped by a force adapted for the operation irrespective of the shape and size of the object to be operated, the handle 8 can be locked in this state.</p> |
