<p>PURPOSE:To produce a high-precision color filter excellent in resistance to heat and light and spectral transmission by incorporating cyan, magneta and yellow couplers on a light-transmissive substrate and using a specified compd. for the cyan coupler. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive material provided with at least three silver halide emulsion layers contg. at least one kind among cyan, magenta and yellow couplers and having a different color sensitivity on a light-transmissive substrate is pattern-exposed, color-developed, bleached, fixed and washed with water to produce a color filter. In this case, a compd. shown by formula is used for the cyan coupler. In the formula, R1 is halogen atom, substituted or unsubstituted alkyls and alkoxyls, (n) is an integer of 0 to 4, R2 and R3 are hydrogen atom and substituted or unsubstituted alkyls and aryls, X is a group capable of being removed by the oxidation coupling reaction with the developing agent, and Ballast is >=12C diffusion-resistant groups.</p> |
