摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a simple device capable of calculating the surface of a sheet material to be process whichever the sheet material is inserted to a developing device in the longitudinal direction or in a width direction. CONSTITUTION: Devices 31 to 33 calculating the surface of the rectangular sheet material to be processed and these devices are provided with a sensor 33 for obtaining the size of one straight line, a storing means 33 storing information on the size of the prescribed print of the sheet material and a control means 32 comparing a measured size with the stored size to generate a signal S showing the surface when they are coincident with each other.
