PURPOSE: To provide a copy method for exactly reproducing the colors of an original photographic picture. CONSTITUTION: For the method for producing the copy of the original photographic picture in a photograph copy machine, this method is composed of stages for dividedly scanning an original picture V to be copied through the measurement system of a measurement station 1 of this copy machine, inputting the measured light sent or transmitted from the scanned blocks to detection constitution 3, converting the measured light into an electric signal as the function of wavelength and strength, digitizing the electric signal for providing color data for working, analyzing the color data in an analytic unit for next setting a correct value, determining the requested exposure quantity of light while using the provided correct value, and copying the original picture. On the stage of analysis, the color data are converted to a standardized color value by performing the reversible linear or non-linear standard conversion of order or film type characteristics, the correct value standardized by a peculiar film value in the analytic unit is formed from the standardized color value, and these standardized correct values are further dis-standardized. |
