PURPOSE:To prevent print failures of a conductive label such as an aluminum deposition label, improve the print quality without being affected by the kind of any printed label, and enable easy printing. CONSTITUTION:In a label printer P using the electrophotography, a movable shield covers 4a and 4b are arranged between a charger wire 3 and printed labels L provided in a transcribing charger 2, and when conductive labels L are printed as at least printed labels L, an effective length Se of the charger wire 3 is set to a length shorter than an effective length Sp of a paper made label by moving the shield covers 4a and 4b. |
